At least one senator of the new majority party has a plan. And, if put into action, it would shake up the political culture. It may even spare the GOP from its usual fate, grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory.

Good luck. As Gruber the goober points out, we are stupid as a people.
I don’t see the recent election as a vote for change in the Republican party, simply a rejection of Obama.
Why isn’t economics core curriculum in a capitalist society? How many really dig through the headlines to understand the graft, corruption and cronyism that dominate? And the powers that be KNOW that we aren’t ready to ripple the water in a big way just yet. They really are truly entrenched and without major groundswell, they will continue to dominate. They also know that the more they squeeze the financial life out of the middle class, the more disconnected from politics people become because they have to spend all their energy on survival, not politics.….…until that moment when something big really motivates them to create real change. I hope we are there but i doubt. Keep up the good work.
