William F.Buckley, Jr.

The largest cultural menace in America is the conformity of the intellectual cliques which, in education as well as the arts, are out to impose upon the nation their modish fads and fallacies, and have nearly succeeded in doing so. In this cultural issue, we are, without reservations, on the side of excellence (rather than “newness”) and of honest intellectual combat (rather than conformity).

What WFB said in this case may well be exactly true and that’s fine. On the other hand the time seems to have been made ripe for Common Sense to get on board with the up date intelligence on who WFB turned out to be: An intellectual traitor to the Christian and conservative cause. His ego-centric underpinnings finally got the best of him. Time for CC to assist with the truth about him. Thanks
