Constitution, huzzah?

Sharing

On May 14, 1787, delegates convened a Constitutional Convention, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to write a new Constitution for the United States. George Washington presided over the convention.

On the same day a century later, Lysander Spooner — author of several numbered pamphlets titled “The Constitution of No Authority” — died.

Refusing to install God’s Laws in Scripture was the Achilles Heel and now the Death Knell of the Const.. They could have done the right thing but were too smitten with the Enlightenment, and to a degree, Masonry. Major villains, in order, were Madison, Jefferson, Hamilton, Jay, Franklin, Washington and Sam Adams who wasn’t there and wasn’t on the committee but very influential nonetheless. John Adams wasn’t there either but would have voted “wrong.” However, without Washington’s fame and presence things might not have gone very well. The point was to amend and improve the Art. of Confederation, not rip it up. Instead?…….Total betrayal. Spooner was/is correct although I doubt that he is/was a fan of the Lord’s.
