But let me offer you my definition of social justice: I keep what I earn and you keep what you earn. Do you disagree? Well then tell me how much of what I earn belongs to you — and why?

The problem with this approach turns primarily upon the use of “earn”. After all, the left-wing use of the labor theory of value was to claim that a laboring class had earned all of the net product of an economic system, but that most of these earnings were expropriated though a spurious system of rights founded in a self-sustaining political system. Those who do not hold to the labor theory in particular can none-the-less argue that a market does not reward people based upon what they actual earn, but based upon a spurious system of claims.
Define spurious system of claims.
