Did you really mean a 150% pay increase? That means that someone who was making 100,000 would be looking at 250,000. The INCREASE would be 150%… or pay would be increased TO 150% of what it was? There is a very big difference!
I find it appalling that our representatives whom we have elected can vote pay raises for those following them. They receive a lot of money already. And then get a 150% pay raise. I am retired and live on social security. I worked for 45 years and paid into social security. I never got a 150% pay increase and have never gotten that increase in my social security. Why when other workers in our state are working hard to survive do the representatives do this thing? They should think of the people who are paying their salaries. Every penny comes out of our pockets.
